Hi everyone, I do not know if you know this sculpture or not but I discover it when my mom came to visit me last year and I felt with it right away.
Dessa started to created her sculptures with the iron of old Cadillac. She felt in love with Cadillac when she was a child and was watching prostitutes, which she calls "the beauty of the night" going in those "iron beauty".
I hope you will like her work as much as I do. She has a couple of them in different places in Chicago. This one is two or three blocs away from the Art Institute.
ou yes,,,this sculpture is often overlooked by the passers-by.

Have you heard that story about switching statue of Lincoln and Grant? Statue of Lincoln is in the Grant Park and vice versa with Grant who is in the Lincoln Park.
yes the place is not the easiest to allow people to look closely at it, but we can still enjoy it.
