This picture has been realized by one of my favorite artist, Luis Royo.
It appears to me as a perfect example of invention and fantasy. The picture represent a sun set like we can all witness. However, the sun appear more as a star. A bright ball riding in four direction in this representation. Furthermore, some kind of ice spike seam to get projected from this sun/star giving to it an aspect of explosion reaction giving to this picture a character very violent contrasting to the serenity showed by the sun set.
In conclusion by representing this tangible and gnown of all of us thing which is a sun set with this creative explosion coming from the artist mind is definitively a good representation of the invension and fantasy style.
It makes sense that you would use this theme for your post here. Your personal preference for artwork certainly seems to lie with work that falls into the category of fantasy. Can you explain what about that is attractive to you?
ReplyDeleteIt is just a way for me to escape. I am a day dreamer, and since I usually can't remember my night dream, well i live them during the day.
ReplyDeleteFantasy, is part of everyone I guess, we all dream about something different, to be different or live somewhere else. In my case it is where I feel safe and only mine.
